Located next to the City Botanic Gardens in the Old Mineral House,
Walter’s Steakhouse and Wine Bar is currently hiring for a casual kitchen hand and cleaner position.

Main duties include dishwashing, cleaning, and organizing kitchen equipment.

Working hours are 3–4 days per week, typically from 5–6 PM to 11–12 PM, with some flexibility upon discussion.
Sundays are off.

As most of our staff are locals, basic English communication skills are required for workplace communication.

Pay rate complies with the Restaurant Industry Award, and your level will be determined based on experience.

For Level 1 Kitchen Attendant Grade 1:

Casual hourly rate: $30.13

Additional $2.72/hour after 10 PM on weekdays

$36.15/hour on Saturdays


For Level 2 Kitchen Attendant Grade 2:

Casual hourly rate: $31.23

Additional $2.72/hour after 10 PM on weekdays

$37.47/hour on Saturdays
