I'm obviously no longer writing my book. Instead, here is a poem. It might take a while to say, and I doubt this website will be around long enough. Anyway, here goes....

Love is supposed to be easy.
But you made it so hard.
I don’t, and never did, blame you for that.
Everyone in your life who was supposed to love and support you let you down and abandoned you. Including me.
I am so, so sorry, and I always will be.
You deserved so much more.
